The Maccabeats: A Multi-Genre Twist of the Traditional “Dayenu”

In this amusing music video, the Maccabeats spice up their boring Passover seder with a multi-genre twist of the classic Passover song, “Dayenu.” They sing the traditional tune in many different music styles, from heavy metal and dubstep to funk and barbershop quartet. A lesson in gratitude, Dayenu (“it would have been enough for us”) is a list of all of the gifts that God granted to Jewish people from the time He took them out of Egypt until He brought them to the Land of Israel. It encourages the Jewish people to be thankful to God at each step along the way.
